Design ConsultatioN

Experience our introductory and step one of the design process with our Design Consultation. Our Initial Design Consultation is a 1-2 hour In-person consultation for $350.00. During the consult we will view your home and provide detailed suggestions and discuss the overall desired vision of the space. At the close of the consultation you have the option to either implement our ideas on your own or make the decision to work with KMD to fulfill your renovation needs.

Inspiration to Installation Full Service Design

If you live within 1 hour of Annapolis, Maryland, our full service design package is for you. Kate McKay Designs offers a complete experience including Flat Lays, 2D/3D Mood Boards, spatial planning, and sourcing from top design brands. We work with trusted, certified professionals to manage and construct our renovations from the ground up. Because full home renovations can be unpredictable, our Inspiration to Installation Full Service Design Package is based on our hourly rate. Contractor fees and furniture are not included. The package starts at $5,000 (initial consultation not included). In short, let us take care of your entire design project!

Mood Board Development

Our Mood Boards bring your dreamy ideas, your saved Pinterest pins and virtually bring them to life. Our 2D/3D digital boards are complied and carefully arrange based on the furniture we’ve sourced and your feedback to shape the renovation design. Prices range from $250-$500 depending on the size and needs of each individual space. Each board includes two rounds of edits.

E-DEsign

Surfing the West Coast or sailing the East, then E-Design is perfect for you.

If you live beyond our 1-hour travel zone, our E-Design service offers a Virtual Zoom Consultation for $350. In 1-2 hours, we'll tour your home, discuss goals, and gather measurements, photos, and details remotely. We'll personalize your design to match your style. After you approve the proposal, we create your design and custom color plan, delivering a 2-D digital mood board with shoppable links within 3-4 weeks. The service fee is $1,500 per room (excluding the initial consultation). Renovation typically takes 1 month.

Getting a view from a different lens can certainly help give your space a refreshing and updating feel. Going back to our roots and where this whole design adventure began, by giving KMD the free range to bring in a few things old, a few things new, and a few things rustic and organic too, KMD can style your space to give it the update you long for.

LIGHTING DESIGN PLAN

Our Lighting Design Plan provides customized solutions to enhance your space’s function and appearance. We collaborate with you to understand your vision and space, creating detailed layouts that improve brightness, well balanced design and keeping in mind the overall ambiance you wish to achieve. The plan includes choosing fixtures and their placement in a well crafted design plan for residential or commercial spaces ensuring balanced lighting that fits your design and needs. The pricing varies based on the size of the renovation.
